A combined
course for new entrants into practical
arboriculture, covering all aspects
of three separate courses - Basic
Chainsaw Techniques (BCT), Basic Tree
Climbing & Aerial Rescue (BTC)
and Use of Chainsaw from a Rope &
Harness (CRH).

An initial
course for people inexperienced in
tree access methods who wish to carry
out inspections, wildlife monitoring
and/or botanical research etc.

- Ascent, descent and limited lateral
movement within the tree crown.
- Duties of a competent groundman.
- Basic aerial rescue techniques.

From October
2005, Treevolution courses will also
be available in Spain, run in conjunction
with our Spanish associate Jochum
Bax at a site near Tarragona.
All courses will be supported by
LANTRA, NPTC and Treevolution Records
