(1) Manager, Supervisor & Foreman (Arboriculture) Course

A course for persons involved in managing and supervising treework teams (maximum eight persons per course).

(2) Basic Tree Surgery Training Course

A combined course for new entrants into practical arboriculture, covering all aspects of three separate courses - Basic Chainsaw Techniques (BCT), Basic Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue (BTC) and Use of Chainsaw from a Rope & Harness (CRH).

(3) Basic Tree Access & Descent Training Course

An initial course for people inexperienced in tree access methods who wish to carry out inspections, wildlife monitoring and/or botanical research etc.

  • Ascent, descent and limited lateral movement within the tree crown.
